The Counsel/Senior Counsel position has significant responsibility for the provision of legal services to multiple internal clients focusing on an assigned region as well as headquarters support teams based in Houston, Texas. The position may, from time to time, be called upon to support compliance counsel supporting other regions globally. The position will also assist with complex confidential business transactions in international jurisdictions in collaboration with in-country Chevron counsel and other stakeholders. Success in this position will require significant legal experience and expertise in global antibribery and anti-money laundering laws. Some experience with supporting and providing practical legal advice to compliance organizations preferably in the oil & gas sector is beneficial.
