As part of Citi’s global Services Legal team, the Lead Counsel II is a senior level position responsible for providing legal support, advice and guidance to the Citi Services business. Within the Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS) business under Services is Citi’s global Payments business, which enables our clients to make and receive payments globally to support their commercial and treasury needs. The Global Payments business primarily supports large corporate clients, banks, payment intermediaries and public sector customers with their payments and collections needs. Reporting to the Legal Senior Group Manager, Services, Payments, the Lead Counsel II will provide legal support to the Payments business’s product areas, including new product development initiatives, at both the global and U.S. country level. In this role, you will interact with stakeholders across Citi’s global network, including product managers, risk and compliance functions and counsel around the world. You will be expected to develop expertise and a strong understanding of the Payments business.
